Strictly floor work (eg. cartwheel, tumbling, etc.) set to a musical performance. No bars/beams.

Classical technique. Considered the foundation of all dance forms.  Ballet helps develop poise, grace, correct body placement, alignment and discipline.

For pointe classes, child must be at least 12 years of age, with a minimum of 3 years of ballet training. Our ballet teacher will be the one advancing the student into the pointe class.

Soulful expression through movement. This dance style was developed during the middle portion of the 20th Century and has since grown to become one of the dominating performance genres for formally trained dancers throughout the world.  Contemporary has many individualized Ballet based styles which develop body strength, flexibility and coordination for all students.  Contemporary dance technique tends to utilize controlled legwork of ballet and modern dance’s stress on the torso and also employs contact-release, floor work, fall and recovery, and the improvisation characteristic of modern dance.   

An energetic and fun work out that incorporates jazz, street dance and funk.  This dance is very popular with young people of any nationality, and can include a wide spectrum of freedom dance. 

Fast paced, energetic and jam packed with technique to develop strength, flexibility, and coordination. Dancers get exposure to various styles of jazz.

Introduction of ballet & tap to your tiny 3 to 5 year old . Child must be potty trained. Half hour of each form of dance.

This class is designed to develop rhythm, creative ability, motor skills, coordination and music appreciation, as well as introducing  dancers to basic dance technique.  

Once the student goes into the first grade, they are able to transition into the full hour classes in any genre they wish. 

This class offers development of coordination, concentration, rhythm, speed and a broad knowledge of the standard tap technique.

Students will progress according to their development and at the teacher’s discretion.
